The miniatures - for oboe solo developed in the spring 2005, take approx. 15 minutes and are from middle to high degree of difficulty.
To this work the composer became lively by the marvelous Japanese Oboistin Izumi TSUBOIKE.
Short, usually cheerful, pieces plumb bobs the technical and sounded possibilities of the tubing sheet instrument very beautifully out.
